Responsibilities

As a Patient Care Coordinator, you are the first interaction for guests and play an integral role in setting the expectations for their experiences. You will perform a wide range of responsibilities, to include:

  • Be professional, punctual, reliable, and accountable for the quality of your work
  • Answer phone according to telephone etiquette protocol, striving for 100% answer rate
  • Enforces office policies and protocols with guests discreetly, tactfully, and professionally
  • Maintain guest accounts/records by obtaining, recording, and updating personal and financial information with a high degree of accuracy
  • Monitor daily insurance correspondence from Home Office, coordinates with dental offices for resolution of issues
  • Keeps informed and updated on OSHA regulations and HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability) requirements
  • Always adhere to service and brand representation
  • Commitment to providing excellent customer service
  • Maintain composure and professionalism when exposed to stressful situations
  • Ability to work cooperatively with management, staff, and patients

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • A minimum of two years of front office experience preferably in a dental setting.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Knowledge of dental software strongly preferred.
