As a dental assistant, you play an important role in our office and perform limited clinical duties under the direction of a Pediatric Dentist and Orthodontist. Clinical duties may include equipment preparation and sterilization, preparing patients for treatment, assisting the provider during treatment, and providing patients with instructions for oral healthcare procedures. May perform administrative duties such as scheduling appointments, maintaining medical records, billing, and coding information for insurance purposes.
Responsibilities include (but are not limited to); supervising administrative operations, managing all office staff (excluding doctors), works with doctors on site with clinical administration, serves as orthodontic treatment coordinator and liaison with home office, partners, practice and associates. Oversees facility maintenance, maintains business office inventory, equipment maintenance and assists in marketing decisions and implementation.
